SPORTS CAR LEGEND HAYWOOD ‘NEWSMAKER’ GUEST ON THE RACE REPORTERS RADIO SHOW;

Three days before what he says will be his final race, endurance sports car legend Hurley Haywood will be the Newsmaker of the Week on The Race Reporters radio show, Wednesday, January 27, 7 p.m. ET, on www.PowerUpChannel.com. This will be The Race Reporters’ season debut.
Haywood is a five-time winner of the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway, which opens the Grand-Am sports car season January 30-31. At Daytona, Haywood will team with last year’s winners David Donohue and Darren Law plus Butch Leitzinger and Raphael Matos, in the Brumos Porsche. Haywood also is a three-time Le Mans 24-hour winner plus has two victories in the Sebring 12-hour classic. Haywood co-drove to the win in last season’s Grand-Am finale, at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He’s also competed in CART and IROC.
Host Michael Knight will be joined for the journalists’ roundtable by Larry Edsall, editor of iZoom.com; and Jonathan Ingram, of RacinToday.com. Plus, CompetitionPlus.com editor Bobby Bennett will talk with Knight about the upcoming 50th anniversary NHRA Winternationals.
